Casual Early Childhood Educator

About the role

Casual Early Childhood Educators join a relief pool supporting preschool children in ACT Early Learning Centres across the Catholic education network. Work is offered as needed through the casual relief system, based on centre requirements and your availability and preferred locations, with pay of $38.89 to $41.36 per hour before casual loading. The role includes play-based learning, child wellbeing and safety, family communication, and collaboration with colleagues.

What they’re looking for

• Diploma or Certificate III in early childhood education and care
• Current ACT Working with Vulnerable People registration
• First Aid qualification or willingness to obtain one
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage competing priorities and use initiative
• Ability to maintain confidentiality

About the school

Catholic Archdiocese of Canberra and Goulburn Education operates 56 Catholic systemic schools and nine Early Learning Centres across the ACT and NSW. This role is based in its ACT Early Learning Centres.
