About the role
Permanent, full-time Youth Worker based at the University of Tasmania’s Launceston Campus, working Monday to Friday alongside four teachers and three other Youth Workers. The role supports high-school-aged students through classroom assistance, individual learning plans, wellbeing activities and school routines, with a proposed commencement in November 2026 or January 2027. The 2027 campus is expected to enrol 60 students and the appointment depends on Tasmanian regulatory approval. Salary is covered by the Life Without Barriers Education Enterprise Agreement 2026, with salary packaging available up to $18,550 annually.
