Assistant Leader of Sport

About the role

Assistant Leader of Sport at the Regents Park campus, working with the Leader of Sports to run the college’s co-curricular sports programme. The role is full-time and permanent as a teacher in any learning area, with a temporary one-point leadership appointment for up to three years, starting Thursday 28 January 2027. Duties include managing carnivals, inter-school sport, weekly activities, staffing, schedules, venues, transport, equipment and student participation.

• Tertiary education qualification and current NESA accreditation
• Experience running major sports carnivals, including budgets and staffing
• Coordination of inter-school sport, selections, coaching and uniforms
• Strong planning for transport, venues, equipment and weekly activities
• Clear communication and positive behaviour management
• Ability to promote sportsmanship and student participation
