About the role

Permanent, full-time Deputy Principal leading the Secondary years at a Preschool to Year 12 Catholic college, commencing in Term 4, October 2026. The role covers faith formation, teaching and learning, pastoral care, wellbeing, community engagement, staff development and resource management alongside the Principal. The package includes a school vehicle, furnished housing, remote-area benefits and relocation assistance of up to $4,500.

About the school

Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Thamarrurr Catholic College is the only compulsory education provider in Wadeye, a remote Aboriginal community 430 km south-west of Darwin, with 450–550 students. It is a bilingual, bicultural school incorporating Thamarrurr culture and Murrinhpatha language throughout its learning programme.
