About the role
Permanent full-time Employee Relations Advisor role, with part-time work considered, in Catholic Education Tasmania’s People Services team. The role advises Principals and leaders across 39 schools and colleges on employee and industrial relations, workers’ compensation, employment law, policies and complex workplace matters. It includes coaching leaders, contributing to organisational projects and policies, presenting to regional leadership meetings, and occasional travel across Tasmania.

- Experience in employee relations, industrial relations or human resources advisory work
- Knowledge of employment legislation and contemporary workplace relations
- Sound judgement in complex and sensitive workplace matters
- Experience coaching leaders and building people management capability
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, employment law or a related field
- Tasmanian vulnerable people registration and driver’s licence
