Lead Teacher – Teaching and Learning (Junior Campus: Years 7-9)

About the role

Permanent, full-time Lead Teacher role at a new junior campus for Years 7–9, commencing Term 1 2027. The position combines classroom teaching and Victorian Curriculum design with scheduled leadership release, staff mentoring and pedagogical improvement. You will join the campus leadership team and help establish teaching, learning and wellbeing practices from the campus opening. The package includes an additional leadership allowance, salary packaging and gym access.

About the school

Y Community School is an independent school supporting young people who have disengaged from mainstream education. Established in 2024, it operates a senior campus in Epping and is opening a junior campus in January 2027, with a focus on wellbeing, academic progress, vocational pathways and student-led learning.
