About the role

Full-time Assistant Principal role leading teaching and learning across K–6 at a three-stream school of 615 students. The fixed-term appointment starts Thursday, 28 January 2027, with the role also including a full-time permanent teaching position. Responsibilities include staff development, induction and performance, curriculum leadership, Positive Behaviours for Learning, religious leadership and parish relationships.

What they’re looking for

• Postgraduate or Master’s qualification in leadership, theology, religion or education
• Experience leading curriculum and school-wide Positive Behaviours for Learning
• Ability to develop staff and support a high-performance improvement culture
• Accreditation to Work, Teach and Lead, or willingness to meet requirements
• Exemplary classroom practice and effective teaching and learning leadership
• Experience or qualifications in diverse learning are desirable
