Religious Education Coordinator - Gymea

About the role

This full-time, temporary role coordinates Religious Education across Kindergarten to Year 6 and supports the school’s Catholic life, liturgies and celebrations. Starting Thursday, 28 January 2027, it sits within the senior leadership team and leads curriculum planning, teaching, differentiation and improvement in Religious Education. The coordinator appointment is for up to three years and includes a permanent full-time teaching position.

• Baptised Catholic with active participation in Catholic faith community life
• Leadership experience in Catholic identity, mission and Religious Education
• Ability to lead liturgies, celebrations and curriculum development
• Contemporary teaching leadership focused on improving student learning
• Strong collaboration, communication, data analysis and planning skills
• Religious Education, theology or theological studies qualifications
