Learning Enhancement Teacher

About the role

Fixed-term, full-time Learning Enhancement Teacher role covering three terms of maternity leave from Term 1, 2027. The role works four days each week, with Thursdays and Fridays required, supporting Years 7–12 students through targeted literacy and numeracy intervention, assessment, and reasonable adjustments. You will work with students individually and in small groups, and advise teachers and families on inclusive learning plans. Teaching staff also take a tutor group and one co-curricular activity each year, with additional payments available.

• Relevant qualifications or substantial experience in special or inclusive education
• Successful literacy and numeracy learning support experience
• Ability to use diagnostic and standardised assessments
• Experience planning and reviewing targeted interventions
• Clear communication with teachers, families, and students
• Experience developing learning plans and reasonable adjustments
