Head of Junior School / Director of Primary

About the role

Permanent, full-time senior leadership role overseeing Kindergarten to Year 6 across the Junior School and Gawura. The role leads curriculum, teaching quality, assessment, student wellbeing, pastoral care, staff development and primary operations, while contributing to whole-school strategy as part of the Senior Executive Team. It also includes oversight of First Nations education, reconciliation, cultural inclusion, enrolments, transitions and community events.

• Postgraduate qualification in education, educational leadership or a related field
• Extensive primary teaching and educational leadership experience
• Success leading teaching, learning, wellbeing and staff performance
• Strong knowledge of evidence-informed practice and curriculum leadership
• Experience using achievement and wellbeing data to improve outcomes
• Current paid NSW Working with Children Check
