VET Teacher - Industry Partner - 6mth Temporary Position

About the role

This full-time, six-month temporary role starts on 28 January 2027 and supports VET students in Years 7–12, particularly those undertaking workplace learning. You will arrange and monitor work placements and School-Based Apprenticeships and Traineeships, manage NESA requirements and records, assess workplace risks, and build links with employers, families, schools and community organisations. The role also mentors students and works with VET staff, trainers and the Assistant Principal for the Trade Training Centre.

• Industry or education-sector experience and understanding of school workplaces
• Knowledge of VET, ASQA, NESA and related legal requirements
• Ability to build lasting employer and community partnerships
• Strong written, verbal and networking communication skills
• Capacity to work independently and collaboratively
• Current driver licence and access to a vehicle

About the school

LaSalle Catholic College Bankstown is a coeducational Catholic school for Years 7–12. Its Saint Yon Trade Training Centre provides vocational learning for senior students through face-to-face and online programmes, with attention to educational, workplace and pastoral needs.
