Te Kura seeks a full-time, permanent kaiako for Years 1–10 in the Te Kāhui Hauāuru region, beginning 28 January 2027. The role can be based in Hamilton, Tauranga or Rotorua, combining online teaching with face-to-face huinga ako and events; kaiako may request to work from home for up to two days weekly.

  • Primary or secondary teaching experience welcomed
  • Years 1–10 curriculum and assessment knowledge
  • Current New Zealand practising certificate required
  • Commitment to growing te reo Māori skills
